Brighton is just beautiful. Since I was about 14 I have constantly went on about wanting to go to Brighton. Back then it was because Zoe and Alfie lived there and I wanted to meet them but now at 17 and finally getting to visit this beautiful city it was for a different reason, it is the hometown of my favourite band, As it is. Before I get into all the exciting stuff I'm going to start at the start.

On the 7th of August we traveled up to Belfast to get our flight to Southhampton, we arrived around 4pm and started our journey to Walburton which is in the south of England around an hour away from Brighton. We stayed in a house that was literally on the side of the road but apart from my bed shaking everytime a car drove past it was pretty good. It was really cosy but yeah.. the WIFI didn't work so love that.

The first full day we went to Bognor Regis, which was a really nice town with a lovely beach and cafes. We got on a little train that went up and down the beach so you could look around and it was easier for my granny to be able to see the whole beach. It was a really warm day as well and of course I was wearing all black so I was suffering.

The Thursday we went to Brighton and met up with Shauna and Cait and we spent the day on the pier which was so amazing and I instantly fell in love with Brighton. It was kind of creepy how I kind of knew my way round from watching so many of Alfie and Zoe's vlogs. It felt like I had been there before. The pier was so pretty and fun and there were so many people there. Cait and I went on pretty much all the rides and it's fair to say I was very dizzy afterwards. We didn't really get to go round Brighton so I didn't see much of it but what I seen of it, it was beautiful. I then made Sonya drive to the Blenheim Place street sign as As it is had their first show there and then the venue was shut down and everyone signs the street sign because of that. So I needed to do this as I was in Brighton and I couldn't leave without doing it. Also the day after I signed it, As it is were there and were taking pictures at the sign so love that for me..

Friday was a chill day we just drove around and chilled out before the big day on Saturday.

Saturday was SitC which is Summer in the City which takes place in London and is one of the biggest youtube conventions and I had never been before so I was so so excited but nervous at the same time because I was going alone. We left Walburton at about 7am? I think. We arrived in London at the ExCel at about 9:30am and I went to meet up with my friend Tee who I met at Luke's meet up in Belfast. It was so nice to see someone who I knew and we took photos together and chatted for a bit before I went into the tickethall where I received my wristband and then my meet and greet wristbands for Mark Ferris and Ricky Dillon. At 11am the doors opened and we all went in, it was huge.. The first thing I seen was Fun For Louis' bus right in the middle of the hall and it looked amazing! I went over to it and there Louis was just chilling outside the bus taking photos with people so I queued up and took pictures with him,,

I haven't watched LOADS of Louis' videos but i've watched some and I have mostly just seen him in Alfie's vlogs but I do enjoy what he posts. It was so lovely to get to meet him and Raya and get a signed poster from them both which is so cool. They were the first people I met at SitC so that was cool and easy!

After meeting them I went to my Mark Ferris meet and greet as it was close to 12pm, I was so excited to go and get to meet him!! I was in the queue for around an hour and then I finally got to meet Mark, he was so so lovely and we both cried as we had a deep chat and lots of hugs, he also gives very very good hugs. It was so amazing to get to see him after so long watching him on youtube but in the photos i'm literally crying in them all so yeah they are fab;

Then came the highlight of the whole day, Luke Cutforth. Before SitC you have to choose in a ballot who you want to meet and I didn't get Luke which was so horrible, I was so scared I wouldn't get to meet him and hug him again but I did. It's all good. I literally went and sat in his merch table queue and there he was he came in from around the back and smiled and my heart stopped. He said 'hey Megan, didn't i literally see you last week' which nearly made me start hyperventilate but I kept it inside so I didn't embarrass myself. I gave him a big hug and gave him a card and an Iphone cover which he loved and put it straight on his phone and still has it on it right now which makes me so happy as he's so pure and he actually appreciated it! He then raced my granny on her mobility scooter and he was on his electric skate board, we had arranged this pre SitC so i'm very happy that it happened and you should go watch my vlog to see that quality content (Link at the end). But again Luke Cutforth is the sweetest and most amazing human being in the world.

So yes,, thank you Luke for being amazing!!

Next was Evan, who again I've met before and I love him so much and I was so happy I was getting to meet him again and he remembered me because of the chair!! He also tried to do a Belfast accent but failed and ended up doing a scottish accent,, how sad. The photo we took together is the cutest thing ever i love it a lot and I have it framed in my room!! Evan is literally one of the sweetest people in the world and i love him a lot and hopefully get to see him at SitC again next year because I miss him already.

Anyways I met a lot of people at SitC but I'm not going to talk about everyone in this blog post as I'm going to do a SitC story time video soon on my youtube if I actually take the time to sit down and do it.. I will I promise. Overall SitC was incredible and I will definitely be back next year and I can't wait to see everyone again, I met so many creators and new friends and I enjoyed my day so much!

Anyway fast forwarding to Monday, I went down to to Brighton again to see my favourite band. As it is. They were doing a meet and greet and live preformance in HMV brighton for their new album The Great Depression which obviously is the best album EVER!! So yeah I went there and queued for hours with amazing people who I love a lot and can't wait to see them all again! I met all of As it is and got a signed CD and lots of pictures, they have promised me they will come back to Ireland so I will hold them to that forever and they better come back because I already miss them. Patty again was adorable and I love him a little bit more and of course meeting the other 3 guys was amazing as I had never met them before, they were all so sweet and funny and ahh I love that band so much. Anyway as usual this blog post is awful and I promise I will try my best to get back into this and try harder but at the minute I'm loving my youtube channel more and I find it hard to sit down and write a blog post so definitely go check my youtube channel if you want better content!! Hope you enjoyed this a little atleast, heres more content of the holiday,,
