ENDING THE YEAR

25th November. Our last concert of the year. PVRIS, I had surprised Molly and Chloe with their tickets back early October, neither of them were big fans but still went as they are one of my favourite bands. We traveled up on the 12pm bus and arrived around 2.30pm in Belfast. We hoped off and went for food, Boojum and McDonalds. We then headed to Lush, there were so many people in the shop, people everywhere. I bought loads of Christmas presents for family and friends. We met up with Rachel and Erin and walked around for a bit with them. Everywhere was so christmassy!!
We were walking over to the Christmas Markets and I spotted a homeless man on the footpath in the freezing cold weather, I went over and asked if he wanted a tea or coffee he he asked for a coffee. I made my way over to a coffee stall at the Christmas markets and ordered a tea. I bought it over to him and he was so happy. It made my day to have gave him something.
The first support act was TYNE, she was incredible and has such a soothing voice. She was so nice to speak to in person and have a photo with her! Really hope I can see her live again some day!
Now... My new obsession!! COIN! They were the second support act and they were incredible. Their songs were so catchy and amazing, Chase's energy on stage was amazing and they are definitely one of my favourite bands now! Meeting them was so nice and they were so sweet, I said to them to come outside after the show so we could chat and they promised they would, so we were extremely excited.
PVRIS were amazing, they did not disappoint! I was so happy to see them as they were one of the first bands I had ever heard. The set list was great although they didn't play white noise which I was really looking forward too but anyway it was an amazing night spent with amazing people! When the concert ended we went outside with a bunch of others and we sat out the back by the tour buses for a while when the security came out and told us to leave and said the bands were already on the bus and they weren't aloud to come out to us. I said that they promised they would come out and he just said no they aren't and told us to get off their property. We walked down the alley and stood at the bottom of the road and waited as we knew Chase wouldn't break the promise, low and behold about 10 minutes later we see Chase walk down to us and we spoke to him for about 20 minutes about what he should do in Belfast and what to eat. We told him to have some Tayto Cheese and Onion crisps and a Boojum before he leaves. We spoke about castles and how cold it was. We took some videos with him and then he spoke to some others. He was so nice and told us he would come back to Belfast next year so we will be waiting patiently.
We then walked back to Molly's sisters house and hopped into bed to try warm ourselves up. It was an amazing night and an amazing last concert of 2017! So excited for 2018 to see so many other bands! First up.. Waterparks!!
